The Voronezh yeast plant began its production activity on the territory of the bread-baking plant in 1952.

In 1993 the state enterprise “Voronezh yeast plant” (“Voronezhskiy drozhzhevoy zavod”) was transformed into a joint-stock company.

However, time passed and outdated technologies and equipment brought to nothing all the activity of the plant. The staff of the enterprise faced a serious problem of modernization of the enterprise.  

“Voronezhskiye drozhzhi ” is an enterprise which specializes in output of high quality baker’s pressed and dry yeast. The enterprise is one of the best domestic producers in quality of the products and factory load. The enterprise acquired a new look after fundamental reconstruction of the main production unit and construction of a custom shop for production of dry yeast. Modern high-efficiency equipment is been put into operation and advanced foreign technologies are used.

Voronezh yeast is in demand in all regions of Russia. Sales of the plant extend from the south (Krasnodar, Stavropol, Volgograd, Mineralniye Vody, Chelyabinsk and others) to the north (the Far East, the Siberia). Today a program of output of new high quality products has been developed and is being implemented at the enterprise.
